Exciting Expansion for Datum House

We’re thrilled to announce some exciting changes here at Kemp Chartered Land and Engineering Surveyors! As our team continues to grow and our technology evolves, we’re embarking on a major expansion of Datum House, our head office in Redruth.

Over the years, Kemp has grown from strength to strength. With our ever-expanding team and cutting-edge equipment, we’ve outgrown our current office space. Datum House has been the heart of our operations for 20 years, housing our head office admin team, alongside our Cornish Land Surveyors and Seeka team since 2005.

Our continued growth means it’s more important than ever to upgrade and modernise our workspace. This expansion will ensure our team has the facilities they need to work efficiently and collaboratively while helping us maintain the high standards of service our clients expect.

Thanks to Simon Riggs at D3 Architects, we’ve secured planning permission for a two-storey extension that we couldn’t be more excited about. The design thoughtfully incorporates everything we need to support our growing operations. The extension will feature state-of-the-art drying and storage areas designed to keep our cutting-edge surveying equipment in top condition and ready for use at a moment’s notice. It will also include a larger office space for our survey team, providing more room for collaboration and growth within our team. Additionally, a fully equipped meeting room will offer the perfect setting for planning and discussing the exciting projects we have on the horizon, supporting both client meetings and team brainstorming sessions.

Of course, our own team will be playing a vital role in the project, when groundwork begins this spring, our skilled engineers will handle the setting out for the extension. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the expertise we bring to every project, right here at home.

The new extension isn’t just about creating more room, but creating a space the business can grow with. The improved facilities will provide a better working environment for our team, enabling them to continue delivering the high-quality services we’re known for.
