Utility Survey Manager
Josh is the first point of contact for clients requesting utility surveys, overseeing tendering, work scheduling across departments, and QA-checking all utility drawings. Joining Kemp in 2013, Josh transitioned from a degree in film studies and working in HMV to a career in surveying, starting as an apprentice. His passion for utility surveying and technology led to rapid progression, culminating in his current managerial role.
A Technical Member of CICES, Josh also holds a ProQual Level 5 qualifications in Utility Mapping and Surveying, showcasing his expertise. He has championed new technologies like multi-array GPR, laser scanning, and crawler camera systems, and enhanced deliverables with 3D modelling and detailed reports. Notable projects include Penryn Campus, A30 drainage as-builts, Devonport Docks, and the Nightingale Hospital.
Outside of work, Josh is a dedicated gym-goer and gamer, sharing his love of technology with his personal life. He enjoys quality time with his partner Elaine and their children, exploring local beaches, swimming, or relaxing at home.
