Celebrating The TSA Graduates: Kemp’s Commitment to Surveying Excellence
On Friday, 8th November Kemp Charted Land and Engineering Surveyors’ MD, Scott, travelled to the British Motor Museum to celebrate the accomplishments of the latest cohort of graduates from The Survey School, including our own Tom H. Tom’s graduation represents a significant achievement, not only for him personally but also for Kemp Engineering, as it marks our dedication to professional training and development.
The Survey School, run by The Survey Association (TSA), is recognised as the UK’s leading institution for practical surveying education, equipping students with essential, hands-on skills needed to excel in the industry. By attending The Survey School, our graduates like Tom gain knowledge that prepares them to confidently take on the diverse challenges found in surveying projects. The rigorous curriculum, combined with real-world application, ensures that graduates are prepared for careers in surveying from the beginning. As Scott remarked, “Tom’s dedication and hard work are an inspiration, and it’s been fantastic to support him in achieving this milestone.”
At Kemp, training and professional development are some of our core values, reflecting our belief in investing in our people to deliver the highest standards to our clients. Programs like The Survey School not only benefit individual team members but strengthen our whole company by continually advancing our team’s capabilities. The skills and insights our trainees gain through these education programs directly enhance their contributions on-site, whether they’re working on complex setting out projects or conducting detailed surveys. Kemp’s approach to training is rooted in the idea that continual learning keeps us at the cutting edge of surveying, while enabling our staff to build fulfilling careers.
In addition to Tom’s success, Kemp Engineering is proud to have two more trainees, Matt R and Ben B, currently enrolled at The Survey School. They’re following in Tom’s footsteps, gaining both the theoretical and practical expertise that The Survey School is known for, which will serve as a valuable foundation for their roles at Kemp. We’re excited to watch Matt and Ben progress through the program and bring their learning into our projects, continuing to uphold the high standards that our clients and partners rely on.
As we celebrate Tom’s achievement and look forward to the future, Kemp Engineering remains dedicated to helping the next generation of surveyors. Our investment in training is essential to sustaining high-quality work and developing a team that’s skilled, adaptable, and ready to lead the future of surveying. Congratulations to Tom and the entire Survey School graduating cohort!
